A major battle in the Soristacian War on 07/20/0602, South Ridge was a trap laid above a mountain pass not far from Rylithian by the enemy. Intelligence gathered by General Sheridia Dreamweaver brought it to the Emperor Averon's attention and he sent a strike team even further up the mountain to surprise the attackers before they could put their trap into action. With the Soristacian troops scattering in confusion, they were easilly defeated. The follow up attack was met with more force than expected, forcing ing the enemy to abandon the field.
