Each strand can be seperated, such as specifically pulling fire magic from the overall flow. Arcane
Rarely, some mortals are born attuned to a specialized part of the flow. These individuals are able to learn to tap into the rest of the flow fairly easilly.


Divine
Use of the arcane and divine strands can be taught to those already attuned to the flow, usually (though not always), through an exceptional understanding of the spell system.
