The orcs continued to pursue the elves that they sought to destroy. Lindaeyl led his people to a defensible point on the other side of a bridge crossing the rapids of the Serpentine river. Once his people were over it, he had the bridge destroyed under the orc horde and easilly picked them off, struggling in the water. Not a single elf was killed, all of the enemy was slain.
