The primary job of the Entities with Essence based skill sets is to break down the mana flow to a more user friendly spell based system. Entities of more specialized types divert the converted energy into spells that fit within their domain.
For example, the Entity of Magic breaks down the arcane flow into allotments to be filtered by each Entity involved in the basic magic sphere of influence. The Entity of Fire uses the magic allotted to grant the useage of fire based spells. The Entity of Necromancy would use the magic allotted to grant the usage of necromancy based spells.
