Empire at the end of Lindaeyl's Reign:
Lindaeyl took roughly 3200sq miles at the average rate of 18.28 miles a year. Mostly, this was done in large pockets that then needed to be strongly policed.
Empire at the end of Zarionel's Reign:
Zarionel took roughly 2800sq miles at the average rate of 9.5 miles a year. He followed similar strategy to his father, but focused less on infrastructure and more on liberating his people. He knew well just how far he could stretch and keep peace.
Empire at the end of Averon's Reign:
Averon took roughly 9000sq miles at the average rate of 14.24 miles a year. It was a delicate balancing game, expansion and infrastructure, and he the victor. It is suggested that he could have taken more, but others argue foolishness.
Empire at the end of Moonshadow's Reign:
Moonshadow took roughly 900sq miles at the average rate of 3.5 miles a year. Moonshadow was more interested in keeping the peace than expanding on the Empire.
Empire at the end of T'Ryndiel's Reign:
T'Ryndiel took roughly 700sq miles at the average rate of 2.83 a year. Unfortunately, internal restlessness brought him plenty of military action within his own borders. In that he was able to expand at all while dealing with internal rebellion proved his strengths.
Empire at the end of Eclipse's Reign:
Eclipse took roughly 12100sq miles at the rate of 50.41 miles a year. He is known to be a cunning strategist capable of turning most any situation to his favor. Much of his success would not have been possible without the flourishing economy and plentiful resources made avaliable by the actions of his father and grandfather.
Empire at its peak under Crescent:
Crescent took roughly 2100sq miles at the rate of 28.76 a year during the period before the Betrayal. It is debated as to how much of it was his own work versus how much was in carrying out his father's already documented plans. Regardless, Crescent proved he was a more than capable military leader in his defenses alone after the Betrayal.
