07/19. 0201- Liberation of The Eldarrian Deepwood

A major victory for the Empire, the once holy Eldarrian Deepwood had been taken by a human man, King James II, nearly 200 years prior. King James III relocated and enslaved the elven residents and had been used it as a royal hunting retreat. Upon taking the throne, King James VI decided to lumber it for a large scale war campaign against the nearby, quickly approaching Empire.

The elves were outnumbered, but King James VI underestimated the skill of the 'Flower Sniffing Flag Bearers' that engaged his forces and was grossly unprepared for the new ferocity of the people his ancestor had so easilly brushed aside. King James VI was killed on the feild, his kingdom was absorbed into the Empire, and the Eldarrian Deepwood was returned to the healing hands of the Church of Sorellyn by Emperor Lindaeyl L'Sheriss.
