Seize of Vena's Glade

05/07. 0240- Seize of Vena's Glade. Deaths include Emperor Lindaeyl.

The once beautiful, green elven city of Vena's Glade had become home to several clan of orcs who intended to end this elven threat and would take out the Emperor themselves. They had killed its former residents and sent the heads of the royal family via catapult into the nearest L'Sheriss fortress. When word of this reached Emperor Lindaeyl, he was furious. The orcs accomplished their goal when the Emperor himself came to avenge his allies. When he was spotted, all attacks were focused on him, regardless of engagement. He and his drake were shot out of the sky. Lindaeyl took twenty seven arrows and his drake hundreds more. The orcs had hoped that with their leader dead, the elves would be easily mopped up. They were wrong. The battle was a solemn victory. The day had been won, Vena's Glade had been avenged, but the enemy had taken the life of The Savior of Elvenkind, Emperor Lindaeyl L'Sheriss.
