Lanalorien

The city of Lanalorien had a mixed population of night and wood elves. It was on the Serpentine River in one of the thickly forested areas of Eldarria.

Whereas it was destroyed in 0062, Lanalorien was only partially rebuilt through the next few years by the few that still lived there. The city was finished and repopulated by direct command of Emperor Zarionel L'Sheriss. Lanalorien was frequented often by the Emperor as one of the many places he considered 'home'.

House Sintari is what remains of Lanalorien's original leadership.

Emperor Averon L'Sheriss was born in the city on 03/18/0428.

Events

06/18. 0062- Stand at Lanalorien

The same orcs that took Sarielle's Song tracked the elves that escaped them, determined to finish what they had started. Lindaeyl took lead of a few young warriors but most of the population fled the moment the enemy was spotted. The orcs razed Lanalorien also while Lindaeyl's few ended up covering the retreat. They did enough damage to the enemy that it became obvious to the others that if they had chosen to fight instead of fleeing, that they would not have lost everything. This realization came too late for Lanalorien but the survivors rallied behind Lindaeyl.
