Lanalorien

The city of Lanalorien had a mixed population of night and wood elves. It was on the Serpentine River in one of the thickly forested areas of Eldarria.

Whereas it was destroyed in 0063, Lanalorien was only partially rebuilt through the next few years by the few that still lived there. The city was finished and repopulated by direct command of Emperor Zarionel L'Sheriss. Lanalorien was frequented often by the Emperor as one of the many places he considered 'home'.

House Sintari is what remains of Lanalorien's original leadership.

Emperor Averon L'Sheriss was born in the city on 03/18/0428.

Events

06/18. 0063- Stand at Lanalorien

Lindaeyl L'Sheriss had gained a reputation in the area as a freedom fighter and was in the area when he heard orcs were attacking the city of Lanalorien. He took lead of a few young warriors but most of the population had fled the moment the enemy was spotted- somehow in the city proper instead of breaching the walls. The orcs razed Lanalorien while Lindaeyl's few ended up covering the retreat. They did enough damage to the enemy that it became obvious to the others that if they had chosen to fight instead of fleeing, that they may not have lost everything. This realization came too late for Lanalorien but its survivors rallied behind Lindaeyl.
