Lanalorien

06/18. 0062- Stand at Lanalorien

The same orcs that took Sarielle's Song tracked the elves that escaped them, determined to finish what they had started. Lindaeyl took lead of a few young warriors but most of the population fled the moment the enemy was spotted. The orcs razed Lanalorien also while Lindaeyl's few ended up covering the retreat. They did enough damage to the enemy that it became obvious to the others that if they had chosen to fight instead of fleeing, that they would not have lost everything. This realization came too late for Lanalorien but the survivors rallied behind Lindaeyl.

The city was rebuilt during Emperor Zarionel's reign and was frequented often by the Emperor as one of the many places he considered 'home'.

Emperor Averon L'Sheriss was born in Lanalorien.
