Azaynt

Azaynt was territory claimed by both orcs and humans and neither would back down. The human government consisted of a ten seat council that met twice a year with represenatives from each of its counties, run by the patriarch of the dominant clans. The constant in-fighting and power struggles made the territory very unorganized, so each clan made due with its own defenses.

The orcs were the traditional tribal sort and pride kept them from banding together. But both groups were quick to rise to a challenge, and challenges were frequent.

Emperor Lindaeyl decided to take advantage of the situation as both groups had always found ways to subject his people to one wrong or another. Azaynt was acquired by the Empire on 05/26/0234
